It’s no surprise that our Barwon Heads project won the 2019 Design Matters award for the best multi residential design in Victoria. These double-storey townhouses are the epitome of luxury coastal living, blending together to create the illusion of one home.
Based in Melbourne, our clients wanted townhouses that were sympathetic to the natural landscape, energy efficient and quintessentially coastal. Working in partnership with their design team at Holman Designs, we used materials that would soften the impact on the landscape – rammed earth, hardwood and charred timber. The rammed earth linked to the sandy soil of Barwon Heads while the hardwood cladding provided a nod to the mature gum trees at the front of the property.
We took great pride in constructing these elegant homes while also building a great relationship with our clients. Our open and honest communication helped them feel confident throughout the building experience despite living an hour and a half away.
